June is Gone

LAst day of June. took sadie to local park and went on bug walk with kids. made the boy run once around the track to earned a chip. he wants the bag of chips anyways. Then took the kids to local splash pad and played for another hour and a half. Saw mom friend and work friend, small world.

Visitor From China

For the next few nights our little family is hosting a 31 male scientist from China. He left his wife, baby 20 months, so he can learn from American scientists. He will stay here for a year.  I would miss my family silly! We are helping him look for a place for the summer, then he can stay a little closer to the office. his name is ze hao, simi

Life was easy

Had my little teaching job and it was good. Now throw marriage and kids into the mix plus job it is going to get crazy!!  Just scheduling daycare and doctor appointments is driving me nuts. Oh please let their be relief.

Its Fun to learn

B and I had change of heart regarding adventure time. Instead we went for a home based preschool but licensed 2 miles away from campus. rates are $1000/ month, $225/ weekly. Nice gal in late 40s, has six grown kids. Good area, from connecticut, mormnan missionary to portugal.

Pain in Heart

Today I dropped the kids off at child care and took B to check out daycare facility. Indeed it is like  a school with 14 classrooms, each with a animal class name. It looks nice and clean and the office people know what they are doing.

It makes me a little sad that they will be there all day. Essentially, daycare will see them more then I.
If I drop them off from 7:45 to pick up at 4pm.  That is 8 hour days. Sounds like they have full-time and part-time teachers. Would be good to know what the situation for our babies are.

A start in infant class even though she is 23 months old. Provide diapers.
W starts in 3-4 class or young pre k class with Ms.Alex.

They provide breakfast, lunch and snacks with tuition.

Safety, doors are locked. Housed in two buildings. Classes range from 0-5. I like how they have differentiation with young infants and old toddlers like A. Wes has choice of pre-kindy or young 4 class.

New PArk Maple

After taking Sadie to local park, we were on a bug hunt. so cute to see kids love discovering the world around them. We saw tons of ants, roly poly, beetle , and a spider. They loved it.

Then we went to new park in maple. easiest way is on main, and turn east on maple. Neat park with a pavailion, large playground, and bathroom.

All Boy

Today we went to Rec Centre daycare, snacks at the park, and later the local splash pad. By 12:30 the gal was out for a nap, but you were still playing the ipad. I'm sorry. Mommy needs down time too.
We did a few pages in your preschool workbook while the gal was sleeping. You liked putting stickers in your pages. When sister wake up we went outside to play in the pool.

Busy Friday

Today I took the kids swimming at rec centre. Friday morning is terrific, less people equals more fun. We stayed about 2 hours. It cost me $4 for the boy, the gal is free. Wore them out. By 10:30 we went to pick up B at his work for him to get lasik done. He was out of it pretty much the entire afternoon. Thankfully Gong was here to help out until 7pm. It worked out great! Now at 8:26pm they are both out.

I'm Back

I applied two days ago for my old position back 2nd Chinese.  Today got hired by new principal and they said they were thrilled to have me back. Told them that I love my kids but I need to have a purpose outside the home. Like Judy said "This is the right thing to do for me." With their encouragements I went for it, and I got it. Full-time is more stress but I want to do it.

I remember one parenting article said "Its not the quantity of time you spend with your children, it is the quality."

Sibling Talk

Dear Wes,

I love how when your sister yells and you know exactly what she is saying. This morning we were playing your mcdonalds toy collection and she kept yelling at the top of her lungs. I didn't know why she was yelling about, but you quickly said "Stop! A, I don't like it when you keep saying stop!" apparently, she was protesting that we were having fun and wanted us to stop. You are your sister's big brother.

I gone and did it

I applied for my old job back today. Talked with principal and she said she will ask other candities if they want to be part-time. If they don't I will have to go full time. This whole thing started when B asked me if I am going to be depressed half of the week I might as well go back to work. Because it is better for my mental health. hence, better for all. I called Judy and talked with her she is fully

I saw my old job back on the job listing except it is full time. B sees that I am unhappy and wants me to do what I want.

The other day while we were eating dinner, we noticed the baby had nose discharge and hamburger on her face. We asked each other is that hamburger or booger. Wes turned to us and said it is "ham-booger."

Asian Festival

We went to the festival today and had memorable fun. Highlights was seeing the lion dance, baymax, and giant bouncy slide. In all good family time, even took A-ma since she never been.

Overcast Day

I was comforting Ari when she fell down and was crying. We were talking and Wes said "stop your talking". We were going shopping next.  We went to grocery store, play place, and local park after the weather was better.

For future playplace events get toy after we play. Once he has toy, the play equipment is not interesting.  

What a Wonderful Busy Day

As usual we made our trek up north but this time B went fishing with father and the kids and I stayed with Ama.  Since we were there super early 8:40, I took the kids to new parks. The first park Mill Hollow, further was okay. It had a trail, bathroom, decent playground, tennis court, baseball diamond. We end up walking around the park and were careful not to step on any snails that were in our path. (I described it to the kids that it was like our family and we don't want to squish them). The second Mountain View park was a blast! Plus it was closer at 1700 E. It had a toddler playground, big kids playground and a splash pad. Apparently, this use to be a school but they demolished to make this park in 2013. We loved it.

Returned to Ama around 10:40 and we ate, ate, and ate. Until Uncle came at noon and we went to pick up take-out from golden dragon. Uncle even gave W a punch toy, he spoils them rotten.

Around 3pm B came back with father and we left at 3:30pm. It was time since, W was out like a light.

Growing Up

Yesterday, I informed my son that a good friend died and he asked what is their name? I told him DaGu, he could see that I was sad. He came and gave me a tight hug and said "it will be alright mom".

The girl also comes and gives me a wet kiss and says, Mama. Sweet moments.

Free Donut Day!

Around 9am we drove to o-town for free donuts for each of us. The line was about 10 minutes, not too bad. We ate in the store because there were a lot of other kids too. Then I took them to the Pirate ship playground, we stayed there for about another hour. That was enough for baby girl to be tired again for a daily nap.

Now headed out for my lip gloss deal. No show, again! Really lady. Geez. Oh well atleast I made $8 with B's pet seat yesterday. This was my first flaky person.

My Story

Great Wednesday

We started out the day shaky becuase he disobeyed me and got the ipad when I told him not to. Next I started to clean out some things in garage with the possibility of selling it online. This took hours. while the kids played in the car and messed up all my things!! Then we went to Tumbling and teachers actually took time to tell me that he was much better at listening now and following directions. Last we went to kfc and brought a extra lunch for Lee a senior lady in the neighborhood. Now she is napping and he is on ipad.

 Yesterday at SP splash pad. My kids let other kids play with one of the buckets and it broke.

We spent two hours at the sp splash pad, it was good we brought buckets because it was quite popular with the other kids. Got other kids to come play with them. Later we went to the playground and played for another half hour.  I did well because I packed some little sandwiches and drinks.
