Easter Weekend

Another work day for us, but the kids at Ms.Linda will have Easter hunt activity. It is nice of her to do that for the kids.  IT is completly extra out of what she does.

At work I have been spoiled with 4 days of free lunch by room moms, cafe rio, kneaders, zupas, and others.  Snacks and 40 gift card. Wow. What a difference from being a stay at home, where there was no recognition, no community.

Daddy's Preschool Talk

Today's lesson was about Plants of the Mojave Desert. It just so happens that B's specialty in science is just that. He taught the kids the concept of "mutualism" or how animals and plants work together and help each other. 20 minutes was just right. According to Ms.Linda, he did a great job!

 Showing seed samples.
 Listening and interjecting daddy.
His little girl didn't want him to leave. But appraently, grumpy for the rest of the day.

Science Palooza

Today we took the kids, shopping, to the park and then to rec centre science palooza. It was 4 dollars but very well done. There were exhibits for civil engineering "lego bots", digging fossils ( chocolate cookies), food science, building using spice drops and sphagetti noddles.  We stay for an hour and 15 minutes wait. Then had lunch at the park.  The girl was pooped. She napped from 1-3pm. It was fun.

Proud Mama

Today as I was reading to A, she was labeling all the animals in English, and when she saw a animal she did not know, she said "wo niu" or Chinese for snail.  Cute. She was able to expressive her self even if it is in Chinese.
