In Competentence

Feelings of incompetence sets in, when I work with a group of strong minded women. I don't contribute enough at least D will recap and say how do we go from here. She also follow up with suggestions from her past.  I guess I just don't see it as relevant to my current position and maybe that rub others the wrong way.  I'm kinda in the fight or flight mode, and feeling like I should quit and go back to English teaching...however, there are no jobs and I also have to think of child care.  The other alternative is for me to fight.

Kids Update

Update on Kids

Ari- 2 years and a half

She can eat! The gal has great appetite. Her favorite foods are fruit, chicken, salad, and cheese.

She has most of her teeth. I think just the four molars are not there yet.

Her vocabulary is pretty good for a two year old. I think being with older kids help her gain more words. Her favorite words are "one time" telling a story, "and then", she can describe her day.

Favorite cartoons- Three little pigs, peppa pig, curious george

Favorite books- Nursery rhymes, she can recite, humpty dumpty, jack and jill, hicory dicory dock, patty cake, and this little piggy.

Favorite things- Playing ipad, dance, read books,  draw with markers

Wes- 4 years and  8 months

Poor eater. IF he does eat it is mostly junk food, we tried to offer him nutrious food. But he will only eat if he is hungry. His favorite foods are anything with meat ,fruit, and cheese.

His vocabulary has also grown. Again, being with kids his age help him gain more words. His favorite words are "ninja turtle", "awesome", "remember when", and he can describe specific events with details. 

He can count from 1-20, he can do simple math add 2 and take away 3. He still counts from one to one correspondance or 1, 2, 3, 4,5...etc 

Favorite cartoons- Three little pigs, peppa pig chinese, anything ninja turtles on youtube

Favorite books- Pete the cat series, non-fiction informative books about animals (Nat'l Geo)

Favorite things- Playing ipad, ninja turtle , mc donald happy meal, paper airplane, draw with markers; of course of ninja turtles.

Computer school ends soon and he knows most of his letters. We need to work on this.

Yard Work Sunday

Dad and I helped brother trim a tree by his front yard. His home was burglarized in broad daylight.  Now he has a security system and a tidier yard. God bless.

San Fran 2016

Annual WAn Rich trip to beautiful San Fran.  Urban city with 800,000 in 49 miles. We rode, muni bus, ride boat to alcatraz, bart train to city and trolley around town.  Lived close to china town and downtown, we went to many city attractions. City pass was awesome for $94 a piece we got into many attraction and free muni and trolley pass.

Day 1 Check in to beautiful wyndem hotel and visit Exploration center.
Day 2 Fisherman wharf, boat ride to alacatraz, and Aquarium of Bay
Day 3 Golden Gate Park with Hop on Hop off Bus visit california academy science
Day 4 Meet Vivian at Golden Gate Japanese and Botantincal garden
Day 5 While the gang went to Lambord street, I got a little me time by going to a salon $55 haircut, blow dry, style  and together rode muni bus to Japan Town. Flight home at 7:39pm, got home at midnight.

Off We Go

Today drop the kids off at daycare for a few hours, went to shop at Ross picked up a cute tent for boy, brought the teacher some lunch and then took the kids to park to eat donald lunch. Now gal is napping and boy is enjoy some quiet time.  I got to clean and get things ready!  Our trip tomorrow starts at 5am. On we go to SF adventure, Wang style.
