S&%! you did what?!
So while I was watching SVU, I noticed Wes was unusually quiet. He saw me coming to check on him and slammed the door on me. It was then I got a whiff of turd. I could not imagine what I was about to see. My son had play with his turd. He had turd all over his nice clean white t-shirt and OMG his little hands.
Life lesson
Today was the second time I went to SSA to get Ari's middle name changed. To give my dad a break from Wes, I took him with me. We were 10 minutes early and there were already about 8 people ahead of us. We waited for an hour, while I entertained him with lollipop, ipad and walking outside. When it was our turn we missed it because I was with him in the bathroom, he was acting up so after an hour we left abruptly. Dissappointed yes. But they say third time is a charm. It was good to give my dad a break but ultimedly, it was difficult for Wes. Yes, I lost an hour of my life waiting for an appointment that would never be, but I can say I spent quality connecting with my son while we waited. So the time was not wasted. Third time is a charm!

Feeling Blue
Last night was a hard night for me and Bryce. I broke down again feeling overwhelmed with raising kids and future unemployment. As he watched me in tears, he wiped a few of his own and says "it hurts me to see you like this", and "I miss your usual cheerful self". During this transition period, I've experience highs and lows. I see my career self slowly melting away, I don't have any visitors anymore and fewer and fewer e-mails. I guess I am seeing the end. The positive spin on this is that I will have new possibilities as a stay at home mom.

Easter Weekend
Very Bunny Weekend!
Wes and I went to Provo Rec to meet the Easter bunny. We were early so we got to walk around the nice new rec center. We were second to meet the bunny.

Oh Wes!
This morning Wes was watching me closely as I opened the door with child safety on. To my surprise he manage to not only open the door, he even propped the stand. Oh Wes!
Later when Bryce came home from work I was sharing with him about this incidence and heard noise in the bathroom. It was toddler Wes putting on my lipstick. Oh Wes!

Emptying Washer
Dear Wes,
I love how you helped me empty the dishwasher this morning, and said "谢谢“ as I took the dish.
Your favorite words are "push buttons, hands, and yes/no".
We are proud that you insist on putting on and taking off your on shoes. At 2 and 3 quarters years old you are adorable.
Dear Ari,
You are still working on eating solids without spitting it back out. You sleep through the night, and may wake up once around 2 or 3am. Also, working on sitting with out help.
Keep it up, girl.
Love, Mama.

Super Saturday
Yesterday, we found a spider on the ceiling since, every time you see
something black on the floor you think it is a spider. I also love it
when daddy asked you where was your pants you knew exactly what he was
saying by patting your thigh.
With each coming day you become more and more expressive. Nearly, 33 months old you say so much...we love hen you feel very strongly about something you say" Bop! peas." for stop please. You know how o say yes or no to communicate wants and needs. "aghhh" for dinosaurs. New favorite bubbles, for blowing bubbles.
Today we went to Lana's 70th party and you were very happy to help her tear ll the presents. Also ou got many people's attention. Mama thought Ari and you had a great time being in the spotlight.

Word Wiz
Dear Wes,
Your vocabulary is exploding and we love it!
On our last family trip you said, "I am not a little baby, I am a BIG baby!" It was darling.
I also love how you can retell the story of "The Hungary Catepillar" by Eric Carle.
Dear Ari,
I love how when we call your name, you seem to know we are talking to you. I also love how you wake up from a nap, and you will babble, and talk in babinese. Our roadtrip was hard on you, because you had to sit in the carseat for hours. But I'm sure enjoyed having Gong gong, Ama and Uncle Marty take care of you.

2014 Dino and Hot Springs Excursion
Yesterday, we came back from our 3 day trip with the Wangs'. It sure was nice to break from the monotony of our daily routine. Day one we drove 170 miles to Vernal, Utah. Stay at a really nice hotel called Springhill suites. We then visit the Dinosaur park and saw a wall full of dino fossils. I think Wes was too young to realize the magnitude of this but I think he had fun too.
On Day two and three we drove an additional 200 miles to Glenwood Springs, Colorado. There we stay at a posh lodge named after the hot springs. Our hotel was much smaller for $200/night but our location was perfect. Our room was away from the main hallway, it had a patio and a garden great for Wes. On night three we even play ball with Wes at the garden. At Glenwood, we got to bathe and swim in the hot springs pool. Little Wes, was very timid by the size of the pool so he mostly stay with Bryce and I in the hot springs.
It sure was nice to have my mom, dad and brother along. Not only did we catch up on old days but they also helped Bryce and I tremendously with the babies. Though I believe by the end they were a bit worn out by our kids, so I'm glad they have the rest of the week to rest.
